Privacy notice
What we receive about you.
This is the website, not the product. The product's privacy, feature by feature, is on its own page. This page says what visiting verdet.app sends us and what we keep, which is almost nothing, and it says where the almost is.
1. No account
There is no sign-up, no login and no form. Nothing on this site asks for your name, your email, or a wallet connection. We hold no record of who you are because there is no place in the system where one could be written.
2. What runs in your browser
The key derivation on the derivation page runs entirely in your tab. No key, no address and no request leaves it; open your network panel while it runs and there is nothing to find. Nothing derived is stored, and the page says so at the moment the keys appear. When encrypted storage ships it will be inspectable in the repository, and this notice will change with it.
3. What our servers receive
The status page and the live block on the front page read chain 4663 through a read proxy we run. When it forwards a request it records four things: the method name, how many requests were in the batch, the status the upstream returned, and how long it took. It records no request body, no source address, and no wallet address, and the logging module is written so that none of those can be passed to it at all. That is an architectural fact, and the threat model carries it as a claim that holds against us.
The site is served by a hosting provider. Like any host, its edge sees the network address your connection arrives from and the pages you request, for as long as its own logs keep them. We do not receive those logs and we do not add to them.
4. Cookies and third parties
The site sets no cookies and loads nothing from a third party at page load: the type is served from our own origin, and there is no analytics script, no tracking pixel and no embedded content from anyone else.
5. What we would tell you
If any of the above changes, the change is recorded in the repository with its reason and this notice's revision number moves. A privacy notice that changes silently is not one.
6. The product itself
What the product hides and does not hide, against whom, and what our own servers see when you use the parts that are built, is on the threat model and on the privacy page. Those hold against us as well as against everyone else, and this notice does not soften them.
