What using this site means.

1. What this is

Verdet is a website and a set of open-source tools for receiving tokenized equities on chain 4663 at addresses that are not linked to your public identity. The derivation runs in your browser. There is no account, nothing to sign up for, and nothing to give us.

2. What we do not do

• We do not hold your keys, your assets or your funds, and we cannot recover any of them.
• We do not give investment, legal or tax advice. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything.
• We do not issue, control or guarantee any tokenized equity. Those contracts belong to their issuers and can change under the same address without notice.
• We do not promise that any planned feature ships, or when. The status of every feature is published and each is marked live or planned.

3. Your responsibility

You are responsible for the keys you derive, the seed you derive them from, and for confirming that whatever you rely on here is still true when you rely on it. Every claim on this site is published with the way to check it, and we ask you to check.

You are responsible for your own compliance with the law that applies to you. The privacy this product offers is confidentiality from a market, never a way to avoid a disclosure you owe to anyone. Use that treats it as the second is outside these terms.

4. No warranty

The site and the tools are provided as they are. We make no warranty that they are error free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose, and to the extent the law permits we accept no liability for loss arising from their use. The one thing we do warrant is that we will say what changed when something changes.

5. Third parties

The announcer and the registry this product depends on were deployed by other people at canonical addresses. The tokenized equities are issued by third parties. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the chain operator, any issuer, or any venue, and the names of those parties appear here only to say what the product works with.

6. Changes

These terms carry a revision number. When it changes, the change is recorded in the repository with the reason, and the previous revision stays readable there.

7. Governing law

Not yet set. This revision states what the site does and does not do. Governing law and venue will be added on counsel's review rather than guessed at now.
